What is WiFi 802.11ac?

802.11ac is a WiFi networking standard which provides high-throughput Wireless Local Access Networks (WLAN) on the 5 GHz band. 802.11ac is often referred to simply as “Wireless ac” ou “Wi-Fi ac”, much like its predecessors 802.11a/b/g/n are referred to as “Sem fio a/b/g/n” ou “Wi-Fi a/b/g/n”. atualmente, a largura máxima do canal para 802.11ac é 160 MHz.
